Beulah K. (Jones) Bauer

Beulah Katherine Bauer (nee Jones), age 80, formerly of Ripley, Ohio died Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at her son’s residence in Franklin, Tennessee.  She graduated valedictorian in 1961 from Ripley Union -Lewis High School in Ripley, Ohio, attended the Cincinnati Bible Seminary, was a retired real estate agent for Coldwell Banker Gundaker Reality and a member of the Church of Christ. Beulah was born January 4, 1943 in Lewis Township, Brown County, Ohio the daughter of the late Hanson and Maxine (Bramel) Jones. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years – Carl Frederick Bauer in 2015 whom she married April 20, 1963 and one brother – Hanson Jones, Jr.

Mrs. Bauer is survived by three children – Jon Bauer and wife Barbara of Washington, Missouri, Chris Bauer and wife Carol of Franklin, Tennessee and Amy Cawvey and husband Bryan of Lansing, Kansas; eight grandchildren –  Michael, Matt, Molly, Tyler and Tim Bauer and Jason, Jessica and Hannah Cawvey; one great grandson – Mason; seven brothers and sisters – Benny Jones and wife Linda of Dittmer, Missouri, Judy Mason of Carl Junction, Missouri, Karen Seip of Ripley, Ohio, Donna Elfers of Williamsburg, Ohio, Vicky Eubanks and husband Larry of Hamersville, Ohio, Debbie Beckett of Seaman, Ohio and Jeff Jones and wife Karen of Hazlehurst, Georgia.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, October 6, at the Ripley Church of Christ, 105 North 3rd Street, Ripley, Ohio 45167. Jeff Tobler will officiate. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. Friday at the church. Interment will be in the Pisgah Ridge Cemetery near Ripley, Ohio. The Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio is serving the family.
