Betty Irene Richey

Betty Irene Richey, age 83 of Feesburg, Ohio died on May 31, 2007 at the Meadowwood Nursing Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Mrs. Richey was the owner of Richey Bros. Parkview Market in Feesburg for many years. She was a trustee of the Brown County Rural Water Association, a member of the Carey Bavis American Legion Auxiliary and the Brown County General Hospital Auxiliary. She was born on March 18, 1924 in Winchester, Ohio the daughter of the late Archibald and Marguerite (Wallace) Hile. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Kenneth Richey and one son, Wilbur Allen Richey.

Mrs. Richey is survived by two grandchildren - Kathy Engle of Georgetown, Ohio and Sharon Fite of Feesburg, Ohio; four great grandchildren - Natalie and Lauren Kunkel of Georgetown, Ohio and Tyler and Chase Fite of Feesburg, Ohio; one great great grandson - Jacob Bohl; one daughter-in-law - Linda Richey of Feesburg, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 5:00 P.M. Monday, June 4, 2007 at the Rosehill Cemetery in Feesburg, Ohio. John Bender will officiate. There will be no visitation. If desired, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association. The Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio is serving the family.
