Betty L. (Morris) Lyon

Betty Lorena Lyon, age 92 of Wilmington, Ohio and formerly of Georgetown, Ohio passed away Monday, March 25, 2024 at the Court House Manor in Washington Court House, Ohio. She was a retired nurse aide for the Clinton Memorial Hospital in Wilmington, Ohio. Betty was born December 17, 1931 in Georgetown, Ohio the daughter of the late Charles and Hazel (Macbeth) Morris. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband – Charles Lyon in 1971, one brother – Charles Morris and one sister-in-law – Elsie Morris.

Mrs. Lyon is survived by two sons- Thomas Lyon and wife Dawn and Robert Lyon and wife Nancy both of Wilmington, Ohio; two grandsons – Eric Lyon and wife Megan of Columbus, Ohio and Dylan Lyon and Xeena of Brunswick, Georgia; one great granddaughter – Ava Lyon; one brother – George Morris of Georgetown, Ohio and two sisters – Rosemary Jones of Tennessee and Maimee White of Florida.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, March 30, 2024 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Sara Maus will officiate. Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. – 2:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio.
