Bertha Eileen Brooks

Bertha Eileen Brooks, age 73 of Williamsburg, Ohio formerly of Georgetown, Ohio died Friday, January 27, 2006 at the University Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. Mrs. Brooks was a homemaker, an author and a member of the Georgetown Church of Christ. She was born on August 1, 1932 in Brown County, Ohio the daughter of the late John William and Bertha Caroline (Swing) Beach. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Dana L. Brooks in 1983, one brother, Harold Beach and two sisters, Lola Patton and Ruth Rogers.

Mrs. Brooks is survived by one daughter - Marilyn Stalder and husband Ben of Bethesda, Ohio; one son - Dennis Brooks and wife Mindi of Flower Mound, Texas; five grandchildren - Scott and Julie Stalder and Kristin, Bethany and Ryan Brooks; six great grandchildren - Ben, Samantha, Meghan, Alex, Brooke and Tanner; one sister-in-law - Dorothy Beach of Williamsburg, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, February 1, 2006 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Kevin Whitsett and Scott Hennig will officiate. Visitation will be from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M. Tuesday. Interment will be in the New Harmony Cemetery near Mt. Orab, Ohio. If desired, memorials may be made to the Georgetown Church of Christ, 149 Hamer Road, Georgetown, Ohio 45121.
