Bernice Neu

Bernice Neu, age 87 of Hamersville, Ohio died Sunday, June 27, 2004 at the Brown County General Hospital in Georgetown, Ohio.  Mrs. Neu was a homemaker and a member of the Bible Chapel United Church of Christ in Hamersville, Ohio.  She was born November 10, 1916 in Scott Township in Brown County, Ohio the daughter of the late Ora and Ruth (Sprague) Neal.  She was also preceeded in death by her husband, Robert L. Neu and one brother, Ova Neal.

Mrs. Neu is survived by two sons - Robert N. Neu and wife, Judy and James L. Neu, all of Hamersville, Ohio; two granddaughters - Stephanie Kirschner and husband, Dan of Batavia, Ohio and Denise Craig and husband, Brett of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; three great grandchildren - Tiffanie Robertson and husband, Roger; Daniel Kirschner and Ryan Craig; one sister-in-law - Edith Neu of Hamersville, Ohio; one brother-in-law - Noble Hardyman of Sardinia, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, July 3, 2004 at the Bible Chapel United Church of Christ in Hamersville.  Rev. Bill Godby will officiate.  Visitation will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. Friday at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio.  Interment will be in Confidence Cemetery.  If desired, memorials may be made to the Bible Chapel United Church of Christ , 119 North Avenue, Hamersville, Ohio  45130 or to Parkinson Disease Research.
