Bernard Lee Cooper, age 76 of Ripley, Ohio died Tuesday, February 8, 2005 at the VA Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was employed by the Oak Hills Banks, was a member of the Ripley Church of Christ and was a Korean War Army veteran. Mr. Cooper was born on October 19, 1928 in Aberdeen, Ohio the son of the late Wilbur E. And Dee (Gast) Cooper. He was also preceded in death by one brother, John L. Cooper and one sister, Frances Bowling.
Mr. Cooper is survived by his wife Anna Fred (Watson) Cooper; two daughters - Kathy Cooper Gast and husband Gene and Laura Cooper White and husband David all of Ripley, Ohio; five grandchildren - Nicole White, Sarah White, Ty Gast, Stacy Gast Chauncey and Ryan Gast and two sisters - Jean Faulconer of Goshen, Ohio and Bernice Reynolds of Bethel, Ohio.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, February 12, 2005 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. Rev. John Neu will officiate. Visitation will be from 5:00 - 9:00 P.M. Friday. Interment will be in the Heitt's Chapel Cemetery near Ripley, Ohio.
