Barbara Jean Turner

Mrs. Barbara Jean Turner, age 65, of Georgetown, Ohio died Sunday, October 29, 2006 at her residence. Mrs. Turner was a nurses aid, working many years for Longview State Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio and the Meadowwood Care Center in Georgetown, Ohio and was a member of the Mt. Orab Bible Baptist Church. She was born on August 22, 1941 in Brown County, Ohio the daughter of the late Willis Denver Carter and Dorothy (Hannah) Carter of Georgetown, Ohio.

Besides her mother, Mrs. Turner is survived by her husband, Edgar Turner; two sons - Dale Lee Turner and wife, Amanda of Georgetown, Ohio and Denny Turner of Georgetown, Ohio; one granddaughter, Christina Mae Turner of Georgetown, Ohio; one sister, Dorothy Ann Napier of Burlington, Kentucky; one brother, Charles Lewis Carter and wife, Bonnie Sue of Fairfield, Ohio; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, November 3, 2006 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Rev. Charles Smith will officiate. Visitation will be from 6 - 9 P.M. Thursday evening. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio. If desired, memorials may be made to the Hospice of Hope.
