Barbara Jean (Hauke) Polley

Barbara Jean Polley, age 88 of Ripley, Ohio died Thursday, October 12, 2023 at the Villa Georgetown Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Georgetown, Ohio.

Barbara was retired from the U.S. Shoe Corporation after twenty years and a member of St. Michael Catholic Church in Ripley, Ohio. She was born June 29, 1935 near Ripley, Ohio the daughter of the late Raymond and Opal (Regenstein) Hauke. She was also preceded in death by her husband – Grover Polley in 2003, four sons – David, Donald, James and Gerald Polley and one daughter – Mary Polley.

Mrs. Polley is survived by one son – Daniel Polley and wife Angie of Ripley, Ohio; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one sister – Rosemary Mahoney of Cincinnati, Ohio; three brothers – Dennis Hauke and wife Joyce of Ripley, Ohio, Donald Hauke of Russellville, Ohio and Bill Hauke and wife Barb of Lexington, Kentucky and nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at St. Michael Catholic Church in Ripley, Ohio. Rev. Dohrman Byers will be the Celebrant. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. – 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at the Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. Interment will follow the mass at Hickory Ridge Cemetery near Ripley, Ohio.
