Arthur Benson Davidson
August 3, 1921 — June 3, 2005
Arthur Benson Davidson, age 83, of Georgetown, Ohio died Friday, June 3, 2005 at his residence. Mr. Davidson was a retired farmer, postal worker and a World War II Air Force veteran. He was born in New Market, Ohio on August 3, 1921 the son of the late Alex and Anna (Sylvester) Davidson. He was preceded in death by his wife, Fern (Carrington) Davidson, one brother, Paul Davidson and one sister Grace Davidson.
Mr. Davidson is survived by one daughter - Angie Jimison and husband, Terry of Georgetown, Ohio; four grandchildren - Benjie Broyles, Maria Puckett, Marla McRoberts and Beth Denny; six great grandchildren - Trenton, Taylor, Sarah, Stephen, Keri and B.J.; one brother-in-law - Eddie Carrington of Sardinia, Ohio; two sisters-in-law - Mary Frances Davidson of Hillsboro, Ohio and Faye Piekarski of San Antonio, Texas; two nephews - Roger Shipman and wife, Paulette of Madeira, Ohio and Lee Piekarski of Milford, Ohio and five nieces - Lynne of Arizona, Vicki Ann and Mary Paulette both of Hillsboro, Ohio, Julie Ann Ernst of Hillsboro, Ohio and Jana Lee Lentz of Cincinnati, Ohio.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 8, 2005 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6 - 8 P.M and also from 1 - 2 P.M. Wednesday. Interment will be in Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio. If desired, memorials may be made to the Hospice of Hope, 415 A½ Home St., Georgetown, Ohio 45121.
