Anthony (Tony) Ray Becraft

Anthony (Tony) Ray Becraft, age 45 of Georgetown, Ohio died Thursday, April 13, 2006 in a traffic accident on State Route 125 near Bethel, Ohio. Mr. Becraft was a graduate of Georgetown High School, Morehead State University and held a master's degree from the University of Dayton. He has been the Technology and Industrial Arts Education teacher at the Georgetown Jr. Sr. High School for the past twenty years. Mr. Becraft was a Student Council Advisor and had coached girls varsity softball and boys and girls jr. high basketball. He was a member of the West Fork Baptist Church and the Theta Chi fraternity. He was born on April 19, 1960 in Georgetown, Ohio the son of Ray and Joyce (Claypool) Becraft of Georgetown, Ohio.

Besides his parents, he is survived by one son - Brandon Becraft of Cincinnati, Ohio; one daughter - Amber Becraft of Georgetown, Ohio; one sister - Christy Becraft of Georgetown, Ohio; one nephew - Cody Fender of Milford, Ohio and the mother of his children - Tina Becraft.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, April 20, 2006 at the Georgetown Church of Christ, 149 Hamer Road, Georgetown, Ohio. Rev. William Collett will officiate. Visitation will be held from 4:00 - 9:00 P.M. Wednesday at the church. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio. If desired, memorials may be made to the Tony Becraft "Mr.B" Technology Education Scholarship, in care of the Brown County Foundation, P.O. Box 158, Georgetown, Ohio 45121. The Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown is serving the family.
