Mrs. Anna Lee Gardner, age 89 of Ripley, Ohio, died Friday, November 10, 2006 at The Ohio Valley Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center near Ripley, Ohio. She was a homemaker and was retired from U.S. Shoe. She was a member of The Ripley Church of Christ. Mrs. Gardner was born on November 1, 1917 in Lewis County, KY., the daughter of the late Francis and Bertie (Gilkerson) Adams. She was also preceded in death by her husband IN 1990, Jack Gardner; one daughter, Barbara Gardner; two sisters, Gladys Gorman and a twin sister that died at birth; two brothers, John and Jim Adams; one half sister, Lucy Wallace; six half brothers, Lee, Phister, Mike, Plez, Carlos and Harvey Adams.
Mrs. Gardner is survived by one son, Jackie Gardner (Kathy) of Georgetown, Ohio; two daughters - Kay Estep (Edward) of Ripley, Ohio and Thelma Emrick (Kenneth) of Germantown, Ohio; seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren and one sister, Frances Mitchell of Ripley, Ohio.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 14, 2006 at The Ripley Church of Christ in Ripley, Ohio. Rev. John Neu will officiate. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Monday, November 13, 2006 at Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. Interment will be in Maplewood Cemetery in Ripley, Ohio.
