Amanda "Mandy" J. (Mcelroy) Smith

Amanda Jean “Mandy” Smith, age 49 of Union Township, Ohio and formerly of Georgetown, Ohio passed away unexpectedly Sunday, March 16, 2025 at the Anderson Mercy Hospital in Anderson Township, Ohio. She was a homemaker and a member of the St. George Catholic Church in Georgetown, Ohio. Mandy was born March 28, 1975 in Cincinnati, Ohio the daughter of Samuel Ray McElroy and the late Kathryn Irene (Shular) Beall.

In addition to her father – Samuel R. McElroy and wife Margie of Georgetown, Ohio, Mandy is survived by her husband – Johnny Ray Smith; two children – Tessa Smith and Johnny Ray Smith, Jr. both of Cincinnati, Ohio; four brothers and sisters – Mark McElroy, Kim Hunter and husband Michael, Mary McElroy and Judah McElroy all of Georgetown, Ohio; one step-brother – Andrew Zistler and wife Bridget of Columbus, Ohio and five nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:15 A.M. Friday, March 28, 2025 at the St. Mary Catholic Church, 6647 Van Buren Street, Georgetown, Ohio 45121. Fr. Frank Amberger will be the celebrant. Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. – 10:00 A.M. Friday at the church hall. Interment will be in the St. Mary’s Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio. The Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio is serving the family.
