Allen Mcglone
January 5, 1930 — March 3, 2025
Allen Cleo McGlone, age 95 of Georgetown, Ohio passed away Monday, March 3, 2025 at the Ohio Valley Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center near Ripley, Ohio. He was a farmer, assembler for the Ford Motor Company and a United States Korean War Army veteran. Allen was born January 5, 1930 in Vanceburg, Kentucky the son of the late James R. and Pernie (Ash) McGlone. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife – Lucy Janet (Baker) McGlone in 2020; two sons – Allen Randall “Randy” McGlone in 2009 and Daniel Wade McGlone in 1965 and one grandson – Nicholas McGlone is 2006.
Mr. McGlone is survived by three daughters – Diane Bolender and husband Terry of Mt. Orab, Ohio, Melissa Hacker and husband Dave of Georgetown, Ohio and Thressa Jones and husband Ron of Felicity, Ohio; four grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, March 7, 2025 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Mt. Orab, Ohio. Brent Cunningham will officiate. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Mt. Orab Cemetery in Mt. Orab, Ohio with military services by the Carey Bavis American Legion Post #180 of Georgetown, Ohio.
