Albert "Ed" Edward Hansen

Mr. Albert Edward "Ed" Hansen, age 51 of Ripley, Ohio, died Monday, February 26, 2007 at Meadowview Regional Medical Center in Maysville, Ky.. He was the Environmental Services Supervisor at Ohio Valley Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center near Ripley, Ohio. Mr. Hansen was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church in Ripley, The Knight's of Columbus, The Russellville Kiwanis, a Life Member of The Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary Unit 90 of Ripley and The Sons of The American Legion Post # 367 of Ripley. He loved to make things and was an avid woodworker.

Mr.Hansen was born March 19, 1955 in Cincinnati, Ohio the son of Albert and Louise (Camry) Hansen of Cincinnati, Ohio.  He is also survived by his wife of nearly twenty-seven years, Jackie (Kabler) Hansen; two daughters, Marideth and Amanda Hansen, both of Dayton, Ohio; his mother-in-law, Mary Helen Kabler of Ripley, Ohio; one sister, Debbie Purcell of Cincinnati, Ohio; one brother, Andrew Hansen of Cincinnati, Ohio; nieces, nephews and many friends.

Mr. Hansen was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Howard Lee "Shorty" Kabler.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, March 2, 2007 at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Ripley, Ohio. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 9:00 P.M. Thursday evening at the Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. Interment will be in Maplewood Cemetery in Ripley, Ohio.
