Shane D. Hendrix

Shane Daniel Hendrix, age 51 of Fayetteville, Ohio passed away Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at the Mt.Orab Mercy Medical Center in Mt.Orab, Ohio. He was a heavy equipment operator for Mid-Continent Coal and Coke Company and a member of the Union Iron Workers Local #44. Shane was born March 11, 1973 in Middletown, Ohio the son of Bobby Hendrix of New Richmond, Ohio and the late Mary Jo (Sutterfield) Hendrix.

Mr. Hendrix is survived by his wife – Sherrie (Cornett) Hendrix; two sons – Drew Hendrix of Erlanger, Kentucky and Chase Hendrix of Fayetteville, Ohio; two sisters – Shauna Schrichten and Mar McCollum of Amelia, Ohio and Julie Johnson and husband Ron of Otway, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Mt.Orab, Ohio. Visitation will be from 12:00 P.M. – 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Vera Cruz - Holy Ghost Cemetery in Fayetteville, Ohio.
